SOFineArt is the gallery and online store for artwork by Sandra Openshaw. Sandra started drawing and painting in 2020 and contacted us to develop her digital presence.

About The Project

Sandra C Openshaw is a growing artist based in South Yorkshire. She approached us through a referral from a client of ours, First Medical Training. Since starting to draw and paint in late 2019, more and more clients and referrals started coming through for commissions.

Sandra decided she needed to increase her digital footprint to take her passion to the next level.

This project was all about building a brand identity focused around a smooth ecommerce website. The aim to allow Sandra to show off her artwork online and allow customers to order prints while keeping the feel clean feel she brings in her art.

The first challenge was building a brand that reflected the business. Sandra had a Facebook page which used SCO.FineArt, her intials and what she does. Our aim was to help build a memorble brand name and web address for her. We found sofineart.co.uk which uses her initials and is a great play on words and build a simple, effective logo.

We then used the logo with the web address to watermark her artwork to protect her work and advertise her brand and website. We also incorporated the artwork into graphics for both Instagram and Facebook posts and stories.

The Results

Generating More Commissions

The website was launched at the 3rd March 2022. Within the first month, the combination of the change in social media strategy and new website has developed a new commission every week.

The new graphics are in place on the site and the watermarked images are being used on social media. The new branding and logo is used in print media and on all artwork.
